Thanks for that info. I have to do a cleaning out of the water sprite every few weeks just to leave some light open for the bottom plants. These plants multiply like crazy! I like to keep at least half of the surface free from floating plants.
I've got three different Gouramis in my 20g tall. They all live quite peacefully and seem to mind their own business. I was going to stock with Black Skrt or neon tetras instead of Gouramis, but I've fallen in love with these guys. Very tame. Fearless at feeding and tank cleaning time. I like their slow, laid back nature as opposed to other fish that tend to be tweeky and dart around at the slightest sight of something not right.
