I'm actually hoping it is a female. Not a big fan of the fatty head humps on the males, and the females seem to be smaller.

Beautiful fish! I think it is looking more male because of the head shape. It has the angle at the top instead of smooth like you would see in a female. I am not sure though, could be very wrong. Either way, very pretty fish!!

100% male now... nice one too...

I have one that has as much color as yours, minus the orange trim on tail... mine is kinda dull....

thats why I think GTs are one of the hardest fish to sex at a young age.... I posted mine when it was around 2.5 inches, the overwelming response was female... a few months later he had pointed fins and was developing a lump... a few months after that he and the other GT laid eggs and had some fry swimming....

nice fish though...

I'm a little surprised how certain you all are that it is a male now. I've gotten used to calling it "her."
