My "Holy Grail" fish

congrats on the beutiful arrowana. be careful with him though. my brothers actually bonded with him, and he went away for a week and it wouldn't eat without him. Its a surprisingly sensitive fish, that gets a whopping size. what are you feeding him? Tuna can work well with them. Your lucky yours is eating so well. hard to find with lfs around me.

Congrats! My lfs just got a silver arowana in for the first time a couple weeks ago. Facinating fish, but I just don't have the space for a monster like that.

Thanks everyone, I'll try to post some pics when I can get some to turn out, so far they have been pretty lousy due to my lighting issues on the tank. He/She is eating baby cichlid food, freeze dried baby shrimp, crumbled freeze dried krill. I've also given it some small crickets, but I don't think he/she has eaten them, maybe they are still a bit too big. Going to buy some frozen or fresh blood worms and other things to try as well. I've named him/her Andy :) Right now Andy is in a 30 gal long tank with 3 baby guppies (I used the guppies to make sure the tank was cycled okay before I moved Andy in) My biggest tank is 135 gals, so Andy will move there when he/she out grows the 30. I'm hoping to have a bigger tank by this summer though. I also have a Clown knife in my 135 who I'm sure will need a bigger tank too, so the quest is on to find one I can afford as soon as possible. Right now finding the space to put another huge tank is an issue, but my 18 year old son is moving to Texas when school is out, so I'm hoping to use his bedroom for it. :)
