My Jade's first clutch!!

i didn't quite understand what you meant? were you saying that if you incubate yours that they eat....upside down? or that they travel down?

when i incubate they dont hatch on their own at the same time amount and conditions. as the tub i had them in was very moist with bead if condensation but not wet near clutch....

and when hanging the seemed to eat apart their clutch and came out the tip of the bottom, just theorizing,...as to why they weren't hatching well or surviving when incubating,..

i don't know, im just guessing that it will be. Big momma's (my golden mystery snail) first clutch was. but idk, this one could be fertile
and yeah, i have tons of males in there lol.
if it is fertile then im just gonna hatch them out and sell/trade them :D
thanks! :D

You could make a floating raft/hatchery and put the clutch on it, then float it in another tank. That's what I used to do, worked great. I anchored it to a corner with some dental floss, so the raft would not get overturned by the HOB filter.

what ive been doing is putting newspaper/paper towel in a tupperware then putting in a sponge and then putting the clutch on top of the sponge (paper towels and sponge barely moist) and putting it under a desk lamp with cling wrap over it. it actually works out pretty well, i stole the technique from rachel lol :D the last clutch i hatched out with it was actually a 90%-95% hatch out, which is really good for me!

thanks lupe, i will lol :D Its fertile! i just know it!
(better? :) )
haha i had to, sorry lol

Great shots crimson! That second one is nice, what camera are you using?

You're so lucky to have a jade snail with a yellowish shell and dark foot! I've been looking for that color combo for a few months, but no one ever seemed to have any. GL with hatching the (hopefully fertile) clutch!
