my Java Moss are greedy

hi i have heaps of java moss and mostly carpet the ront of my tank which is the only way i can give my fish food but when i try to give my food to the bottom feeders it ALWAYS lands on the Java moss and the fish forget about it. Anyone have a solution to this? i am honestly getting annoyed becasue i always have to dip my hands in to move the pellet but the thing is the flakes cant get to the actually bottom well i could say 35% would go to the bottom . and the rest go to the moss does anybody have the same problem or should i just feed them more? so the food could actually land on the bottm

Drop the pellet in through the same hole in the canopy where your filter goes through.

You might be able to cut a 1-2" cross-section of a water bottle and set it in the java moss. That should give you a permanent hole through the moss and be relatively discreet at the same time.
