My fish didnt even give me a chance
Around 4-5am I hear splashing, no big deal I tell myself still asleep, maybe they found some food on the surface and are jumping at it. Few more splashes go by, Im like man there must be some secret food stash they put away. But the splashing kept going so I was like **** my pleco might be sucking on a fish and its to weak to get away, so I pulled my rump out of bed at 5am and went over to look. Naughty fish!!! My calico fantai and red cap oranda were molesting my orange oranda! Yup you guessed it, spawning. I now have fish eggs all over my driftwood and the floating plant. After 2 weeks in the kiddie pool they went nuts. Ya I wanted to get more fish eventually but not right now! So I guess I am gonna go read up about eggs and how long it takes to hatch if they do then seperate them. I wanna get my 1500gph filter going soon so I dont think it would be safe if they do hatch to be pushed around by such a powerful pump. Luckily I got a spare 20gal and a hot magnum 250 I can throw if need to be. Ill post pics later of there crop
