My little betta tank

Anubias are great low light plants as are java ferns however both of these species need to be tied to wood or rocks and not buried in the substrate. (anubias would give you a much similar look of what you have now...)

Very nice!

Wow, 24w CF lighting for a 5g tank? Sounds great for plants, but that also works for algae. How long do you keep the light on each day? A couple crypts, a nice anubias tied to the driftwood, and perhaps a couple java ferns tied around the driftwood too would look excellent in that tank. :)

The light is on about 3-4 hours per day.

Very nice tank and you have a pretty Betta!

Love what you did...do you mind me asking what brand fish tank that is? I'm looking for a 5 gallon myself and I like that style!! :) Love the black sand

I found it at Walmart on clearance for $10 (included filter, light, and hood). I believe the brand is Aquaculture. The size 16" x 8.5" x 10".
