today i finally recieved 10 dwarf gouramis via priority mail that i ordered from aquabid and i'm so excited. unfortunately, i had one doa. they weren't packaged too well, the bag had little water and the bag was able to tip onto it's side where most of them spent the trip laying down, i think.
hopefully this won't make any ill effects in them.
anyway, there's looking to be about 3 or 4 females i think, so i'm quite excited to get my breeding project under way. i have 3 tens set up for breeding pairs or trios, and a 34 rearing tank i'm setting up soon. they're all being kept in one ten gallon right now, because i recieved 6 dario dario for my boyfriend to breed today too that i'm holding for a day, but then i'm going to split them up a bit until i can get a heater for the third ten gallon.
i'm going to pick the best males, probably keep all of the females, and sell the other males.
anyone have any tips/tricks for breeding gouramis?
wish me luck, just wanted to share my excitement!
