Ok here is a picture update. It has been nine days since I started with Bio-yeast CO2 injection. I am just using an airstone and placing in the intake of the filter. Since I intially went with less yeast this time, my CO2 has been running about 10-16ppm for about a week now. I am definately going to add more yeast in the next batch to get my ppm's around 25. I am also looking into a light upgrade. I am going to do see if I can get some 15watt CFL's to boost my watts per gallon up to 3.0. I would really like to see some color come out of the rotala. I also plan to sell the anubias barteri plants.(check classifieds)
Any suggestions on what would be a good replacement for the anubias????
I do like the look but I would like to open the space up a little bit. I am getting some Dwarf Pygmy Cories this friday and I would like to have a little bit more space for them. I want to let the chain sword fill in the forground and plant something else in the same general area as the anubias.
Alright, so the first big change in this tank has finally happened. I liked how the Anubias Barteri looked in the tank but I felt like it took up too much space. Those plants spread out fast. I brought them to the LFS and traded them for some Ludwigia glandulosa. It has real good color right now but I would like to bring more red out. I plan on upping the lights to 15watt CLF's still. I am just having a hard time finding the 6700K model. Let me know how you like it.
My goal is to get a full "yard" of the Pygmy chain sword, thus the runners everywhere
