I've never said that, I said it is not unheard of for a female to dominate fish of both sexes, I've had this with yellow labs, until they started hitting adulthood and the male grew considerably larger.
Eggspots are no indication of sex, both sexes can have them.
Get more females, look at efors' post above, though if it was me personally, I wouldn't even try mbuna in that tank.
