this is my reefball, i got it at a dive shop. made by the same people who send massive ones to places around the world to help coral to grow and to recreate damaged reefs. they make these in my town, i always see trucks loaded up with huge ones. lol, i love it, thought it needed a thread :D

if they made as much small ones as large they would get a ton of money in from aquarists. i think im gunna stick a gsp frag in the top one and watch it consume the whole thing :D
 
That is pretty cool, I saw a show on TV on that a while back. What would be REALLY cool is if there was an entire man-made reef, various companies collected coral and placed it in the man-made reef and eventually it became a reef that the SW reef trade could pick from in unlimited amounts without further damaging the current reefs.

Is there anything like this right now?
 
Heck, I should start making those. Just need to get a kiln and go for it. That is if there was any real interest.
