I did a huge mistake by not having my tank cycled before putting fish in it. I've been having my 3 mollies for 3 weeks or so and I had 4 mollies but 1 of them died. Now my dalmation molly is swimming funny...in a way where he can't get his body completely straight and can't seem to put his head down...so when he swims it's like he is dancing. He is still eating and still pretty active. I've been doing 40 percent or so water changes everyday to lower the nitrite and nitrate levels. I tested my water levels yesterday which were at:
Nitrite: 0.50 ppm
Nitrate: 5.0 ppm
Ammonia: 0.25 ppm
pH: 7.0
Is there anything I can do for now to help him get healthy again?
I currently have a 10 gallon tank with 3 mollies and 2 cory catfish (I thought they were glass catfish a few days ago but was mistaken)...
Thanks for you help!
