When I introduced some mushroom corals to my aquarium I placed the rock they were on the rock in the midlayer of the tank, the individual mushrooms moved towards the bottom of the rocks and two are on the sand substrate, is this normal? Two polyps have stayed on the sand substrate for about 2 weeks now and seem happy enough. I'm not sure whether they are adjusting to my lighting as they weren't under very powerful lighting previously or whether this was quite common?
