Okay a day after (today) Otis died (My swordtail) my neon looks messed up. It has some type of thing on the right side of its body. It looks like a worm type deal but I am not 100% about it. The thing on its body doesn't move and its really small. Its on its blue stripe. I don't know whats going on, and I am not even sure if its a worm or even a living thing on its body but I am worried.

Any chance you could post a picture or describe it in more detail? There are things called anchor worms, you might Google that and see what you find.

No i don't have a camera like that. Ugh its hard to explain, its white and i cant tell if it moves or not, i am not sure. I'll google up the thing you told me.

K I googled it and its deffinatly not that. The thing on the neon is really small.

Okay, can someone please tell me what Neon Tetra Disease starts to look like if one gets it. What if its that. Cause now some of its blue stripe doesn't light up any more and it looks swollen.

BUMP! Please I need to know, if someone knows, please answer, I need to know what to do with the fish.

I have no idea, but if there is a problem I just use salt. :fairy:

It deffinatly isn't a worm, it just looked liek it at first because it was the shape of it when it was on him. It kinda looks like flake food stuck on him but it isn't actually flake food.

Well that was in October... he died that month. And now, it looks like a second neon might suffer the same. The litte white dot is back on another neon. I don't know what the hell it is. And his colours aren't as dark as the other neons. Please does anyone know about this?
