i bought these at my lfs for 200.00 ballast, bulbs, sockets. 660 watt VHO t12 . good deal? i dunno also what is the minimum height from the water line for these lights? i noticed a huge difference over the pc lighting. the guy at the lfs says there better for corals then pc. is he correct? iplan to build a hood for these just hanging temporarily. the hood that came with the tank is to heavy and to short IMO
