nice update! what do you mean, you need help with lighting? what are you planning using this tank for? and what is the footprint?

how many lights the footprint is 5'x2' it will be lightly planted w/ java fern& moss, I am looking into a x-mas moss wall(I JUST heard of it) it will house 2 12" oscars a 10" jag a 14" plec and 2 4"tinfoils.

I made the front panel "on location" to get a little perspective and wow !!! I can't wait!!The stand is constructed of 2x3's, 3/8" plywood ($8.oo a sheet) and 3/16" flooring underlayment($9 per sheet) to make a 9/16" plywood for 17 bucks a sheet instead of 35.
the plants you chose are somwhat lowlight only requieing about 2-3 watts per gallon ... i suggest using compact flourecents from www.ahsupply.com and run them with 6500k bulbs
