Darth Scohin: When they are babies they have these stripes, although I'm not sure if this is due to stress of being with other bettas in grow out tanks, or just because they don't have colouration yet.
H2Ogal: I plan on keeping these in their own sorority, since they aren't regressive towards each other, and will likely breed them. One of them is slightly purple, and I think in a few breedings, I could have some really pretty true purple bettas :grinyes:
I almost forgot, day 3 the male created a bubble nest, and today (day 4) the bubble nest is half the size of the tank! Not sure if this is from his new diet or just happy to be out o a little cup, lol.
Thank you!
The colours are getting a little more deeper, and the stripes are fading. They keep trying to eat the food from the goldfish tank (Which is beside their tank), They see when I feed them and they try to get at the flakes. Then I feed them and they seem content again, lol. Even my older females are starting to become brighter, I woulder if it's because of the temperature change? Or Humidity? Either way, all the fish I have seem to be richer these days. I'll post some photos a week after I brought my new babies home, and see how big of a difference there is.
