Hello everyone! im new to the forum, and newbie on bettas or the whole aquarium hobby. I recently just bought a male betta and housed him in a 5 gallon tank. Ive done some several searches on how to really take care of him, but i would like to read your opinions since some of you may have owned or still own one.
my issue is....ive read a lot that bettas need to be in warm water no less than 75 degrees temp. But i find it confusing because bettas can also be kept in a small bowl without any water heater nor water termometer to monitor it...is it really a big deal to get a water heater for my betta or ill just have to make sure that the water is not to cold? maybe touch the water once in a while to check? im gettin a little worried coz i touched my tank water its not so cold but i dont think its warmer than 75 degrees either. Thanks for your help guys!
