My new clown loaches

I would not feed live snails to your clown loaches. Frozen blood worms would pollute your aquarium less and have more nutritional value.

Blood red MST snails breed in my 29 gal grow out tank. When the population gets big, about every month, I take out half and drop them in the big tank and watch the snails snatch them out of the water. Watauga's right, most never hit the bottom of the tank. Every now and then one clever snail escapes the loach pack, but the vampire plecos find them sooner or later.... Do it if you like, and make it a treat every now and then.
