My New DIY CO2 System with Pics!

I made my CO2 system today from these instructions http://www.qsl.net/w2wdx/aquaria/diyco2.html#6 . It was alot of fun and pretty easy. I didn't use the bulkhead fittings. I just drilled my holes slightly smaller than my silicone hose.

After about one hour I was counting one bubble every second, but in my reactor I have what looks like a cyclone of bubbles going on. Is this normal. I am guessing that the CO2 enters the reaction chamber faster than it can be absorbed so it just swirls around in there until it gets absorbed. Kinda scary to see all that CO2 just spinning around in there though. Pics are below.

This is a 55 Gallon Tank by the way.

Nice job. I have made one of them they work great the only thing I didn't like about them they take more pressure to get the bubbles in( back pressure). Bubbles shoudn't come out that whats the sponge at the bottum is for so all bubbles get dissolved.
