i live fontosas, well they look great. i was wonder in what size tank would i be looking at to have about 3 frontosa's and if i can have other fish with them

At least a 75gal for 3 Fronts plus you can add some Calvus and maybe some Lelupi..

Yep I agree and even better would be say a 120 for about five or six so - they like a nice sized group and again plus some other fish, like the ones mentioned by pitbull.

so a 100 gallon long would work, but i could do a 75

100 long would be an excellent tank for 'em I think. Probably better than the 75. I'd say you could have four or five in the 100 Long.

Have to agree...fronts should be housed in a group larger than 3 IMHO. I plan on a 180 :naughty:

I'd probably skip tankmates as they're known to eat Cyprichromis in the wild so similar sized/shaped fish are potential snacks for full grown adults. Fronts are notoriously slow movers for their size but it could happen.

A 6' tank would be ideal. That way you could bump up the numbers and have a group....

sweet, and i could build a plywood lined tank insted of buying one

i would agree im getting ready to do a 6 ft 125 for a group of 8 and than im doing some wild cought calvis also
