Today I had to take alot of plants and driftwood out of his QT so that he wouldn't get stuck... and today he came up to the glass when I woke up

I have to be honest -- that face strikes me as a bit freakish! I can't argue that the coloring is unique. Nice find, and neat fish.
He is pretty nice! What kinds of plants have you successfully kept with your goldfish? When I kept goldfish, it was hard to find plants they wouldn't eat
