My new project 30 gal

Ok, so the next thing is that I got a couple pieces of wood from Customdrum and tied them together. This is my first attempt with wood, I never thought I "wood" use wood :) I also got some java fern from customdrum . Now this was a fun part of the project , I never did this kind of aquascaping before.

Love the manzanita centerpiece. Your tanks are always so clean and crisp. It'll be interesting to see what sorts of things you'll be doing with wood from now on.
 
Thanks, it's funny, everything just went together so easy without trying to figure out how to make it work. Even after I put it together and put it into the tank this wood would still want to float but if you look in the picture you can see where the top piece of the wood fit nicely under the outflow to hold it down :) LOL

Thanks ! And now I have to say that this was supposed to be a low light , simple setup but you know how that usually goes. I got a new glo fixture coming Thurs ,36" double 39 watt t-5 , 6700k. I originally got the 24" one because it was going to be set up with a filter on the side and the tank in a different location.
Also I just might have to get some c02 set up on the dern thing.
 
Thanks, I don't know , probably . I am leaning towards either a LARGE school of neon tetras or cardinal tetras, a bunch of cories, and a bunch more plants.
