i traded a bow flex sitting in the back room of my job, for this tank! works both ways, cuz ill be here everyday anyway, it might as well be mine still.... so i built the stand, and holy crap i forgot how expensive wood is!@ i did the laterite and flourite substrate, but i didnt buy enough so i had to mix about 10 pounds of homedepot peagravel in the top layer of flourite. oh well, it still looks good i think... i bought the light on ebay, its a 175 watt MH with the ballast for 75 bucks. it came with 2 bulbs, the one in the picture is 14K but the other one doesnt say, its really yellow colored. ill mess around with both of them and figure out which one works better with the plants when i get em.... the filter is a rena xn3 ... the water is still a tiny bit cloudy, but its lookin cool allready. i'll keep updating this as soon as i can afford plants and whatnot....
