My new tank

Well, the newest that we set up anyway. We have had this 2.5 gallon tank for awhile, but never had any use for it. Last week my wife was dusting and had an idea. We have a light in our entertainment center that we never use. It's been turned on once when we got the EC to see what it looked like. It shines directly down on the center of our 65" tv and lights up the center speaker for our surround sound??? i really don't know what they had in mind when they designed it, but while cleaning my wife realized that 2.5g would be a perfect fit on to of the tv. A little rearranging and presto! A magnificent center piece.
We have it heated of course and an Aqua Tech 5-15 filtering it.

me too, but that's what the towel is there for. Not a spill, but a little run over a splashing.

Haha it's funny (kinda funny) that you mention that. I had no idea that snails would escape. i figured that they need water to survive so they will naturally stay in the water. Obviously I was wrong. Not an hour afer adding them one came up missing. I had 3. I was just asking about this in another thread and was informed of my ignorant mistake.'
I do have a lid and am modifying it to fit the tank with the filter on there now.

snails acctually have gills and lungs (or lung-type organ anyway)

i would put a lid in there for the guppies also. with the suroundsound going, they might get shaken out
