My new tank!

Nice looking tank. As a suggestion, if you’re willing to go down to just one angel, it may work. I’d suggest some bleeding heart tetras or maybe Diamond tetras. 3 of each or 5 of one type. Along with the cory’s you want, you’d have a real nice planted Amazon tank.

Bleeding heart tetras? I've never heard of them before. Any pics?

I wouldnt like to keep just one angel. I like to keep my fish happy in the pairs or groups that they are in in the wild,

Awesome looking tank!! It looks like you did quite a bit of planning prior to setting it up. Is that African Driftwood you have? It looks great.

Barbs can be nippy, but I have 9 in my 30g along with 3 Brevis and they seem to love the rocks and sand and pretty much ignore the Brevis.

Keep up the great work and post more pictures as the tank comes along.

I would love to have some barbs, especially some of the more colourful tiger varieties in my local fish shop, but I am becoming more against the idea because I want a harmonious tank. I do want to keep it interesting though, I would love some suggestions as to what stock I should keep.

I dont know if its african driftwood, but it looks great afaik! I just hope the plants dont die before I add fish! I'm thinking of adding diy CO2. Good idea or not?

I'd say,go all out and get some nippy fish......

Here's a link w/ some photos and info on Bleeding Heart Tetras:Bleeding Heart tetras

An intresting and not very nippy at all barb is the Gold Barb.

Here's a link for them:Gold Barb

The Gold Barb is a great community fish and a bit of a clown. I have 5 in a 55G w/ Dwarf Gouramis, Panda Cory's and H. Rasboro's (Another great fish also)

I like the bleeding hearts. I think I might get 6 of them instead of the barbs. I'm not too keen on the gold barbs though, not sure about the colour.

I tested my tank this morning and its ready for fish!!! I will do a 70% water change just now and then pop down to the fish shop.

Its got a tanin colour to it now which deosnt show up in that picture. I didnt want the tanin colour but now I've seen it it looks wicked! :)
