This is my Juwel 180L

Water a little cloudy because I just did the Rockwork (and my phone camera is a touch useless).

Plants look v fake and need another effort.

Will try to take some better pictures when water clears :)

I love the rockwork...what are you going to put in there?

A very good start!

Looks nice...maybe shift the plants to one side or with a bunch towards the center....think asymmetrical.

Thanks folks,

Couple more rocks in, water is clearing now - good idea on the plants fishboy; I'm going to thin them out on the right and move some over to the left to lean into the tank more.

Siren - undecided on stock. Wanted a rock tank lol so decided to put it together and see where the water parameters were, then base decisions on what would be happiest in the tank. Ph now stable 8.2, water is hard.

Thanks for the encouragement - havn't done this before so nice to get good vibes !

Open to suggestions...stock & decor

edit : D-man - that is the kind of rock that was at my LFS and that I like the look of lol...sorry can't be more helpful. It and the crushed coral substrate have taken my ph from 7.2 out of the tap to 8.2 (tank running 10 days now).

That is beautiful rock work. I know what would be great for those water conditions and they would provide you with lots of viewing pleasure when it comes to exploring all those nooks and crannies in your rock.
I'll give you one guess:) .......Electric Yellows......mine are very active. And they are hyper compared to my Blue Aulonocara h., they just aren't as fun to watch as my yellows. So, what kind of rock is that? Was it spendy? Well any way I look forward to seeing your tank with fish. Happy Fishin'
