My newish(added more stuff) 55g

Firstly... HERE HERE FOR SILKS AND FAKES!!! ^_^;; I personally think they look marvelous... and so much easier to maintain, yes??

My only other opinion is that the black gravel and black background make it look very dark and severe. My opinion may be too-little-too-late, but I'd have gone with a photo background with foliage and driftwood/rock accents... or something similar that would blend well with your current decorations, add a little extra depth and dimension, and also lighten up the background? I think you'd be pleased with the result.

My old LFS would give 4-inch wide samples to her customers for 50 cents for them to hang behind their tank and decide which style they liked best. Would you be able to do something similar with your local store?

I really like the black background- I think it really makes a difference. What a sharp looking tank. I like the rock placements too.

I was actually thinking about a background for mine- wasn't sure what color I wanted, just knew I wanted it dark.

After seeing the before and after shots of yours, I definitely decided to go with the black. How'd you get it on, tape?

looks really good

Yea. i just taped the sides to the tank. I was going to put vegtable oil or whatever on the back to make it become more clear. But considering there is no design on it. I realized it wasnt necessary.

So yea. Just some tape will do fine.

Thanks again for the comments. Keep em coming. :)

where they silk or real it still looks nice, keep up the good work

Thanks bud!

I wish my platty would hurry up and haver her babies! I hate having her locked up in the breeder box. The male is getting lonely.
