My nitrites are finally going down!

I tested the water this morning and my nitrates were up to 1.0ppm and my nitrites were down to 2.0ppm....still high, but better than yesterday. So, I hope I am over the hump. I'll be glad when this cycle is done!!!

Isn't that the truth!! Wonder how long it will take to get both to 0? I was going to order the bio spira today. Couldn't find it locally. I am assuming I don't need to do that now?

shouldn't be too long and the nitrites should be 0
then you'll have 0 ammonia
0 nitrites and hopefully nitrates 20 tho the nitrate level can be higher.


the nitrates won't usualy go to 0 they are kept in check with with good water change schedule. if you keep them around 20 you're doing good..
