Wow thats fairly short. They are such intelligent creatures, you would think they would live longer.

Wow thats fairly short. They are such intelligent creatures, you would think they would live longer.
As attached as I am to some of my tank pets I think an octopus would draw me in more and I'd take losing them pretty hard after that amount of time. :sad:
The sucky part is that they only live a week or so after their progeny hatch. Mine lasted a month after her eggs hatched only because I was hand-feeding her.

I came across this thread by accident,and I see its old, but is your guy still alive? If so how is he doing.
wow its been ages since ive been on here. im sad to say he passed in a heat wave a few months ago. tank hit 94. came home from work and the bristle worms were on him. i was going to get another but due to space an money i broke down the 40.
