well an update on my pet oscar, he has fully recovered and his mouth is shut. letting nature set its course for him was the right idea, he's his splashy happy self again. now i know to keep smaller fish out of the tank

my next step for my oscar is getting him proper filtration and a 55 gallon tank. can anybody provide filtration information and prices? i want to make sure my oscar is as happy as i can afford to keep him. lol

Glad to hear he's ok!

For your next tank, I'd recommend a 75g since it's got a lot more depth and will more readily accommodate a full grown oscar than a 55g will. I like the rena XP canister filters, I run a lot of XP3s on my tanks. Fluval FX5 is a very powerful filter. For pricing, you can easily google that.
