oscars are monomorphic which means both male and fem look the same..so you wont be able to tell unless they spawn..and they need the perfect tank conditions..I had mine almost 6 years in an improper tank before I learned better, and they didnt breed until the last year ...I miss them but knew I couldnt go bigger than a 75 gal cause my house wont grow LOL ....they are puppies of the aquatic world tho!! very smart and loving fish
