My Plants Are Dissolving

Its been quite a while since I've been on the board but I'm back and in need of advice!

Over time I sort of stopped doing co2 injection and fertilizers (I have 96W light in 46G aquarium). My plants flourished! I could barely keep on top of keeping them trimmed. Here was a pic:

I think though when I was changing water, I wasn't doing very good job of vacuuming the gravel and over time it was starting to get really really bad (but the plants liked that). I did start to have a green water problem but really no problematic algae growing anywhere. So last Friday I did a thorough cleaning of the gravel and for the first time I took out all the plants and completely redid the layout of the tank.

Now my plants are melting!! The edges are fraying and they are just disappearing from sight. This is only since last Friday. I need to fix this before I lose a lot of them. I'm already bummed I cut my hornwort back to aggressively last fall and lost the plant. But I don't want to lose everything else that was doing so well.

So I'm back to researching ferts and I pulled out all my stuff from under the sink and I'm so completely overwhelmed (partly because its mid-week and my brain is fried from work). So any help is appreciated that is specific to my situation. Here is a current pic of the tank after I did the change last Friday:

I don't even remember all the names of my plants, except the red ludwigia, corkscrew vals, jungle vals and the java moss (the moss btw is looking sort of gross, I'm not sure what I want to do with it but its not staying on my driftwood so well). I think that is also sagittaria sublata and some kind of sword? I know there is more stuff in there too. The ferts I have are:
fleet enema
nosalt
flourish trace
flourish iron
stump remover

I think I can spend more time researching this weekend but right now it all is overwhelming. Any quick advice?

EDIT: OMG there is purple string on my cat... Hah I completely forgot about that. Do people on here still get that joke? its been a while..

should be on a rock.....

my guess is they were getting their ferts from the gravel. when you cleaned it you removed the extra. since your not adding any more they are suffering. you have the right idea about pulling out the ferts. start adding them and things should get better.

Your mulm & decay were probably adding a bit of CO2 to the water too, start up your CO2 again or w/ 96W/46G, you'll probably continue to have algae issues.
