My pleco and grapes

This is the first time I've put fruit in the tank. Even the oranda liked the grapes, but not nearly as much as the pleco. He was all over them. Is he not cute? Don't you just want to hug him?

Grapes are toxic to dogs... I'd stick with melons.

There's a theory that some grapes have suddenly become toxic to some dogs because grapes have been gentically engineered using the same viral proteins involved in the manufacture of canine vaccines...and/or excess vaccines over-challenge dogs' immune systems and then the foreign grape proteins are the last straw.

Anyoldwho, I don't think that applies to fish..? :huh:

And yes, he's very cute!

i tried a cucumber last night

and mine was all over it as you can see lol.. Today in the morning i just saw a piece less than half that size floating.. Very hard to feed mine algae wafers since my silver dollars steal them for themselves.
But i have to try grapes. How did you prep it?

oh he's so cute! the cuke is bigger then he is!

All I did was scrub 2 grapes with a veggie brush then peel the skin off. Suck a plant ancor through them and drop them in. I left it in a few hours then took out.
