My pond.

It freezez sometimes, but the frost goes away in the afternoon and its very little.

Yeah..... I live right next to Long beach, Rancho Palos Verdes? I think you know this city.. well anyways, I dont think that water freezes here man, We are in southern California, so even if the weather is unusually cold here, it would be at around 48 or 49 degrees, and that is no where near where a water would freeze.

hey fish guru, is it true that there was a golf course built in Palos Verdes that over looks the ocean that had the 18th hole slide down the cliffs? I heard this a while back ( several years ) and thought with all the slides who would put a course up so close to the edge.

I might just buy 1 or 2 black feeder goldfish for it. (and possibly breed them)
If I can't get the goldfish, and if tadpoles can be used to cycle a pond, I'll just make it a frog pond.

xsdbs, yep you are talking about the Donald Trump international golfcourse, and the eighteenth hole slid down the cliff into the ocean.... it was a while bak but you know, nothing big happens here, so I remember.

I moved from Cali to Mich back in 98 and heard shortly after that this had happened and thought who in their right mind would put a course right on the cliffs. ya I 'm sure it is a beautiful sight but....crazy
