So, I was doing a little reading on these boards to see if these black stringy things in the bottom of my tank were normal when adding a plecostomus. I guess so. At first I didn't know what the stringy stuff was, but I suppose it's feces. I got him 24 hours ago, and he is like the poopmaster! He's so gross, but he is getting right after the algae in my tank, which is greatly appreciated.
With as much as he poops, how often will that leave me doing a water change on my 10 gallon tank? I only have 2 African dwarf frogs in there besides the pleco. I don't want his nastiness to make my froggies sick. Thanks in advance!
