So I have no will power.

I was at the LFS today picking up some water conditioner, and decided to take a stroll downstairs where all the fish are kept. I peeked at the bettas and literally squealed when I saw they had a whole whack of delta tail males! The most exotic bettas I've ever seen in person up until today had been crowntails, so I jumped at the chance to take one home with me. The guys in the store thought I was nuts. lol.

I really lucked out with this guy, he has the sweetest disposition. He's living in my 10 gal with some platies and snails, and I haven't seen him even so much as flare once all day at anything-- he mostly keeps to himself and spends his time weaving in and out of all the plants. This is a huge difference compared with my other betta, who flares at and tries to attack everything from bits of string, to moss, to stuffed animals sitting on the dresser beside his tank. x_x

So yeah, for anyone in the Toronto area looking to get a delta male betta, check out the Big Al's on Kennedy Rd. in Scarborough, haha! ^_^

ah! i took some pics of my betta too :D the female is very camera shy...(from what i've learned, true with most girls i know) and the male flares up for me in the morning, i had to take the pics on my cell phone and i'm pretty sure i can upload them.
