Hey, Im now the proud owner of a 60G tank and a new 2.5 inch red devil :perv:

I just wanted to ask you guys about filtration, cause atm I have a MASSIVE power head, which is really chugging out the water, enough to make a pretty solid current in the tank. I reckon it would have to be around 20-25cm in length to give you an idea of its size. Is there any other options or methods of stemming the flow of the filter to minimize the current in the tank?

Thanks.

Its also kind of noisy when the little air hose is out of the water, will this stress my fishy much? (Do fish have ears? haha)

Well...what kind of filter do you have?

Uh. Has the impeller/motor at the top with a long cylinder with a filter in it below the motor.

is it an eheim?

Sounds like a canister, can you post a pic or link? If it is a canister, you can disperse the discharge with a spray bar.
