My redesigned Fire bellied toad setup

Big changes, despite all I was doing to this tank in the past couple of weeks was trimming the pennywort, redirecting the stray creeping fig vines, and feed the frogs and fish. And if you look at the last picture close enough, you can see some nice, green terrestrial moss growing on the side of the paludarium.

Thanks Leah, but there are actually 5 frogs in there, not just one.

I have to ask, what filter are you using, and how did you set it up? i've been watching the FBTs at my local petshop and I'd be interested in setting up a tank.

I'm just using a little 50gph powerhead hidden behind the main piece of wood and doing 50% water changes weekly. It's hard to explain how I set it up, but it only took me about 1 hour from empty tank to putting the frogs in their new home.

Thanks for the compliment james. It's actually a very easy tank to maintain, it's the part where the plants need to fill in that makes me impatient.

There sure are FTS, the first picture is one. It just got a little cropped on the right side so you can't see the glass edge.

The stuff on the sides is just sphagnum peat moss that I packed down around the edges to give it a natural background where the Creeping fig will eventually grow all over it.
