I love pitties and pitty mixes! :hearts:

what a cutie

Rusty is beautiful!

I just got my wife a pit puppy. Her name is Nina. She's a freakin' brute too! Nothing but pure muscle.

you can see his muscle in some of the pics on the couch... hes a beast... and he runs like one too! he looooooooooves to run... hes smart enough to know that if we go out and hes a good boy he gets let off his lead... we have a dirt mound out back and he LOVES to run up and down and up and down he can do it for hours... then he comes back and SLEEPS its great...

James start training her NOW... seriously, we got him at a year... and its been a challenge... but they are such freaking smart dogs, he has learned to wrestle with us with NO mouth what so ever, which goes way against doggy nature! post some pics of her!

I love when they stand on their hind legs cause they're leg muscles really bulge out. This is our first pit and I'm just amazed at how strong they are. We are teaching her. She's learned to sit a little and we're teaching her no teeth when playing with us. Now if we can just get her to play easier with Sophie...

This is Nina!

Rusty is just so awesome! I love the dirt hill story! Maybe Nina can play when she gets a little older, I would love that. For now, She is a complete handful but a wonderful handful. She's doing pretty good so far and impressively smart!!! I know you know we're not kidding when we say these dogs are smart! I love her little run out freak outs in the house...It's like she's playing with an imaginary friend and so excited. You really just see happy within her expression! I can imagine that with Rusty and that dirt hill. Awww! I would love to see that!

- The wife who got Nina mentioned by James for her b'day. AKA Mandy. :-)

OH my she is cute!... Rusty does the run through house freak out! he doesn't have another doggy to play with, so when he meets new dogs its hard for him to behave himself!

Have you tried removing her when she gets to rough with Sophie? we did that with my moms dogs and Rusty, he gets to rough he gets an verbal displeased sound, he keeps doing it he gets led away. he learned REALLY quick that if he wanted to play there was to be no laying on top of my moms yorkie :) OR rough play inside. We did it with some other behaviors we didn't like as well...

Another story for you...

we were cooking dinner one night, he knows that when we say "out of the kitchen" hes to go lay down on the carpet he normally does it with a little reminding, on this night we had been gone most of the day and he was clingy, so when we told him out of the kitchen he was being stubborn, so I did the treat technique and he went out... laid down, got his treat... Got BACK up, told to "out of the kitchen" left laid down with a very loud groan/sigh sound looked right at me and "army" crawled till both of his front paws were on the kitchen floor and just looked at me like "whaaat im out of the kitchen"

Hahaha! Nina is just like that! We will tell her no or to get out of the kitchen and she will turn and lower her head to walk away, but she have this upset groan. LOL. We can't help but laugh to ourselves every time. She's a big whiner too.

We haven't tried leading her away, just telling her no. she usually stops for a sec, but then they start to get rough again and we have to tell her again.
