My saltwater setup

Wow, now that's a big project! As long as there are pictures I do not think anyone would mind, people post all kinds of stuff on here. There are a lot of picture addicts here and a lot of DIYers too, myself included on both accounts.

Thanks for the add, friend! :D

Ok ill post a few then and see what everyone thinks. if you want the whole album just give your email address. I got about 100 pictures I would say from start to finish of my basement and maybe that much for my fish tank. I just didn't show every step in my pictures. Figure i would show, before, little bit building it and after.

phyto and rotifers

here are some picture's of where I grow my phytoplankton and the 10 gallon tank where I grow rotifer's. Empty at the moment. Rotifers grow so fast that I am waiting until my tank has balanced out before starting it up. Made the mistake of jumping the gun with phyto and having a few bottle's of it in my fridge (not the best way to get on your wife's good side). So I have shut it down until needed. My rotifers are gravity feed from a DIY pop bottle with a flow regulator so drain in around 24 hours keeping rotifer's feed all the time. There are 2 feeding holes for them with the blueish tubing, the 3 other tubes are to move air around in the tank. Anyone that is going to try this. When I have it running i take every tube apart once a week and let them sit in boiling water or every few months replace all the tubes. All tubes must be keep very clean for this to work or your system will crash and you will be forced to buy a new batch. If kept clean you only need to buy once and the phyto can be split every 3 days and the rotifers will multiple like crazy. I drain 70% of the rotifer tank every 3-4 days and never had a problem getting the population back to normal with a day or so. Great cheap way for food for corals.

equipment

Here is most of my equipment. Still looking to a good computer program that can run my fish pretty much. Looking for one that will show my orb, nitrate, ph, temp, etc of my fish tank and control dosing, wave maker and lighting. Found a few but they don't have everything I want so I am waiting. Although I haven't set up my computer in the room yet. Only ran the ethernet cable. So if anybody knows or a program like that please help me out. List of my equipment in order of picture. Filter Direct 6 stages marine R/O D/I unit, Vertex In 280 protein skimmer, (4) hydor koralia 4 1200 gallons per hour for my 125 display, (2) two little fishies 550 reactor (one filled with rowa phosphate removal and the other filled with rowa activated carbon), digital lux meter (for telling me when my lights are bad. I have taken to many friends houses and showed them there lights were garbage even though they look fine.), 15 watt UV sterilizers (might get a larger one and it hooked inline with my activated carbon), Float vales, salinity refractometer, coralife compact (used for refugium. One 20,000k and one 6700k), (3) 400 watt metal halide ballast, (3) metal halide (right 10,00K middle 20,000K left 10,000K) back wall in picture sits 6ft blue leds, Coralife turbo-sea external water pump 1100 ghp, Wave maker (don't think I will be using it though), (2) blue line pump protector (use it for calcium reactor, protein skimmer, pump and two little fishies reactor), Vertex RX6 duo calcium reactor, milwaukee Co2 regulator, american marine ph controller and a co2 tank. Not in the pictures are some heaters, timers for all the lights and equipment for my 90 gallon sea horse tank (not set up yet), lights for the mangroves in my sump.
