After having a bad first expierence with convicts (male ate famales tail) I decided to re-introduce my female with the male. The females tail isn't entirly grown back but it looks much better. But when I put them back together the male started chasing her again, but after about 10 seconds of chasing, they both stopped and started turing in small circles and rubbing eachother. I also noticed that the female has darkened up alot in only a few minutes. Do these sound like premating rituals or are my fish just messing with me again?
