well here is a video of my tank, mostly my clowns:). i was glad there was no conflict between these two. the tank is still pretty much covered in algae. the good thing is that i'm finally getting my nitrates down. 30-40ppm which is better than unmeasurable like it was. and when i actually get a chance to clean up the algae, it's not growing back:headbang2:. using RO water and have been doing a lot more water changes. it's amazing when you can just go get RO water anytime you want. MONEY SAVER!!! any way here it is. don't be to hard on me. :p:

if that was a typical feeding i can see why you might be having some algae problems tho, that's a lot of food floating about in there!

yeah i do tend to put a lot more then needed. i've always done it though. when i first started the 65g i never had a problem, till i got lax on upkeep when my son was born. i'm slowly getting it back to "normal". plus my CUC seems to take care of any food that falls. 10 hermies, 5 turbos, 2 emeralds, and countless bristel worms, who fight over fallen food. kinda cool to watch:grinyes:.

Wow! SW amazes ( and intimidates!) me! Little Nemo sure can dance!:headbang2: What are the pink things on the glass; also, what is the name of the electric blue fish - it is gorgeous!!:grinyes:

and dont feed so much...lol

yeah, i'm always afraid of not feeding enough. i've read countless things on feeding, and it seems there is as many different oppinions on this subject as with any other subject in this hobby. hard to figure out which one i should follow:confused:. with the stock i have, how often would you feed?

coraline algae is what is on the glass.

blue devil damsel. don't know the scientific name. i call her "devil in a blue dress":grinyes:

Always disturbing the noise!! Camcorders crank up the volume to hear something - anything! and so everyone's tanks sound like municipal water works. LOL

Nice tank.

Holey hair algae fishman!!! Good luck with the fight, hope all goes well for you.

thank you. i'm tryin'. like i said, nothing is growing back were i scrubed it off, but were it still is it grows faster than any weed in my yard. when i scrubbed the left side last week my tank was so cloudy i could barely see through to the back. with no mechanical filtration it cleared up in about 2 hours, with the powerheads on:headbang2:. i love live rock and good flow :grinyes:, which i think i finally have. flow that is. i know i have live rock:).
