My Tanks:

Okay, time to revive and old thread.....
I currently have:
1 Yellow Lab
2 Red Tail Black Sharks(one passed a while back, was real lean when I bought it)
2 Jack Dempsey
2 Cobalt Blue
2 Fire Mouth
1 Rhino Pleco(Would like to give it to someone local with adequate tank)
2 Convicts

I'm wanting to add more, if possible to the aquarium. I have more driftwood coming in as well as more Holey Rock. Looking at the LiveAquaria site as far as Cichlids are concerned, I'd like to hear some of your suggestions as to what I could possibly add to the setup. I'll have plenty of caves, rocks, and hiding places for the tenants, lol. I was interested in more color some of these were in mind:

I like these, but weren't sure about size:

Obviously don't think I'd be able to buy a pair of each due to their max size, but would like to have an appropriately stocked tank. I'll be adding more sword plants as well to the tank as my current ones have survived just fine. Any input would be greatly appreciated, honesty is welcome, I don't get offended, lol. I'm also aware that some of these fish need to be in appropriate sized groups due to their aggression, and I'd by willing to accomodate/adapt if tank size permits. For example(stating minimun group of 6):

Thank you in advance folks! This site has been a wonderful source of information whether solicited or searched!

Where's the angel in the 13g going?

Btw, nice tank, be careful with the red tails though, they can get pretty lethal (to each other).

Well, it's actually a 12gal. I'm hoping to get a 30 so he can have a partner and more plants. As far as the red tails go, I did have three as recommended, but one had died. He was a little lean when we got him and I was hoping he'd grow out okay. I was wrong. These two have been cruising together and no aggression towards each other. I'm still lookin' at getting a 3rd though.

oops, didn't attach them. Here's some of the newbies. Recent events have kept me tied up. I recently started a new position with a local PD, my son was born Dec 6th, and we moved to a new place. Unfortunately the 100gal looks pretty bare vegetation wise from how I'd like it to be. Some plants were lost somehow during our move. I have more swords planned in the next couple weeks, and am still researching lights. I know I can buy a ready to mount light kit, but there's so much more information on this site that I'd ideally like to do my own.

I got rid of my small Eclipse tank, gave it to a good friend. The 55 is now in my son's nursery. He gets a kick out of it while on the changing table, mesmorized by it. For the time being, I have 4 Demasoni in it growing to about 1.5-2" before I toss them in the 100.

Both tanks will be getting even more driftwood as time passes, along with the above stated plants. There are only 23 fish in the 100. Before the flames begin, the RTBS is still in there keeping to himself and cruising around the tank unbothered. Couldn't bring myself to give him away yet as we stock more cichlids. If I see him get tormented, I'll pull him immediately and switch him with the others in the 55. Anyways, on to the pics. Let me know what you think(besides being bare as hell, lol):
