My tanks

^ lol yeah I had a bunch in the corner at one point and it kept throwing off little babies, some of them attached to the drift wood. At one point one stem actually broke the surface and started growing emmersed. It was turning into a tree though so I removed it.

The tanks are awesome and original. I love the army men. The 20gal is my favorite though. Looks great.

UPDATE ON MY 20 LONG

I got some great looking anubias and I just finished adding them. I also transferred all of my cardinals and the last remaining neons from my 46 gallon. I also took out the HC and moved it to a 2.5 gallon, I didn't really like it there it was too scraggly and apparently I am not patient enough to let it fill in.

Here are some full tank shots:

I took the cardinals from my 46 gallon and added them to this tank. I really like the addition, the added color is great and the tank seems so much more lively now.

I really like this shot but all the scratches kind of depresses me. Can't complain though since the tank was free :)

Here are some shots from the water change before adding the new plants:

The moss is doing well, but the java fern that I have attached to the sticks really is not doing anything. In the first shot you can see the java fern doing ok but the stuff on the sticks just isn't growing. The arrow plant is growing like gang busters, I am scared it will get to big for my shower caddy planter.

Anyways thanks for looking!

thanks!

It has taken awhile to get it to where it is, I wish that I had used a more exciting moss than java when I started it... but I do find that the more often you trim it the thicker it comes in and it loses that stringy scraggly look.

The moss on the tip of the stick in front is actually regular ol' terrestrial moss that I pulled from a rock near the waterline on one of my hikes. I was sure it would die, but it actually has rooted to the wood. When I first attached it, I had a couple mushrooms sprout up the next day. I didn't get any pics of it unfortunately.

Petco is having their $1/gallon sale...

$20 for a 20 Long means it won't feel as bad if you screw up the derimming :)

Love that 2nd to the last shot, where the water level is low and the wood looks like roots grown into the water. I <3 mossy wood & rocks!
