Lately my texas cichlid hasn't been himself which is always chasing the other fish around and protecting his territory.

He always seems to have a litle pink lump on him, my dad constantly treats the tank the lump disapears then it comes back on a different place on his body.

But lately we added a female to the tank she is only small where he is very large, but he doesn't seem to be himself , occasionly i see the green terror and the texas having a fight but tex doesn't seem to fight back he just hides in the corners or under a large log.

What could be wrong with my Tex ????

What are your water parameters? How big is the tank, and what all do you have in there? What medication is being used?

size of the tank is 105 gallons ( 4ft x 2ft x 2ft ) and there are about 15 other fish in the tank (lion heads, kribensis, living stonii, electric yellows, 1 texas, convict, jack dempsey, johanni and a green terror and also many young of the lion heads and the johanni)

and the treatment my dad currently is using is multi cure

well..you have way to many fish in the tank for one..which could be causing a spike in your water parameters

do you have a test kit?

well my fish have been living together for like 2 years now but recently were moved from a 3ft standard tank ...... guess its time for a trip to the fish store and see what fish they want

thanks all
