I am really excited. For the past several days I have been working on the set-up of my very first salt water tank. It is a used 45 gallon tank with a brand new sump (which includes a refugarium) and new lighting system (Corallife lunar lightscape). Really like the fact that it is one light source that has the three lights. The moon lights look great at night when it is dark.
I have attached a few pic's...let me know what you think. It is only 2 days old so still a little cloudy becuase I put the live rock in today and it stirred everything up. The LR is Tonga Branch and Pauliki (sp). I had one piece that was great...had a bowl shaped cave but would not fit through the opening in the top of my tank. It broke when I tried to split it so that is the close up of the "dome shape". Thought it would be good hiding place and awsome to to cover with corals. 3-4 weeks for the LR to cure and then the next step is snails.
