Ok, as many of you have seen, I've been trying to tackle my cloudy water issue.

After doing a 25% water change 3 days ago, adding the Emperor 280 filter to the Fluval 204 (36 gallon), absolutely nothing has changed.
My water readings are all perfect.

NOW, my tank has a very "sweet" smell. It's not a foul smell, nor is it the kind of smell that would force you to leave the room. It's almost a "flowery" smell.

Any clues, as to what the heck is happening now?

To those not familiar with my situation, here's a previous link:

A sweet smell is a good thing, it means your water is healthy...especially if all your readings are perfect, what's the worry?

shouldn't be a problem as long as your parameters are in check.

To make you feel better, my 5g planted smells like corn. Yup. Fresh corn. I know its gross, but I smell it on purpose sometimes anyway;)
