Hi,

I am new to this forum. I am a bit impulsive and purchase my first ever fish tank last October. I bought a 120 gal aquarium, sump, powerfull light, 2 Maxijets. I have live rock in it and a variety of animals. I test ammonia, nitrate, nitrite and PH. All have been perfect.

I added a little cowfish yesterday and covered the maxijets with some spongey foam stuff. I didn't wash it first and it looks like the pump is spewing more than jsut water. Maybe air? Maybe algae off the pump? Maybe dust? It has been doing it since yesterday.

I have three anemones. Two are in one area and are the same type the other is off by itself. The two that are in the same area do not look good tonight. One is completely closed - its tentacles are not visible. The other's tentacles are completley deflated and small.

I tested my water and my nitrate level is at 5 or 10PPM.

Should I be worried?

Liz
