While setting up a new 6.6 gallon bookshelf tank i picked up at Petco today for, what else, FRY :) I was checking out my 10g shellie tank, in disgust, because of an algae problem I'm having (whole other story :wall:). I found a single fry! At first thought, I figured it was shellie fry which would make sense, but I don't think he/she is. The fry is too small to get a picture of at the moment, but he looks transparent with a blue belly and stays near the surface. I had my white clouds in there for a short time (a few weeks ago), but moved them after a couple of days because the male multi chased them and nipped at them. Other than that, no other fish have been in there. Only other possibility could be hitchhiker eggs on the plants that I had in there.

Sorry, for the long post. I found it interesting :)

They're white clouds no doubt if they aren't multis.

Yeah, I'm fairly confident that it must be a white cloud. Just odd that it's still in there. I've done atleast 3 water changes since removing the white clouds and the last one was really big because I am trying to fight algae and was cleaning the algae off the decorations. Funny I buy a fry setup today and find a fry while setting it up lol.

I always said things happen by coincidence, not luck like you were lucky enough to bring a setup and then seeing the fry just in time.lol Enjoy.:)
